Dineo Ranaka was suspended from Metro FM for misconduct last week. This was said to be because she was dancing on the furniture at the radio station in Auckland Park, Gauteng when she did the #umlando challenge.
The #Umlando challenge saw participants winding their hips to the song Umlando by Toss.
The radio personality announced that she is going to be back on air today for her show The Bridge from 09:00 to 12:00. She also announced that she will be dropping her single Ukhona this week.
“Can’t stop! Won’t stop! Back on #TheBridge 9-12am on @metrofmsa today 🏆. 1st shoot day of a brand new TV show today 🏆. Dropping my single #Ukhona this week 🏆 Sis is MOVING FAAAAST! 😂😂😂😂🔋🏆,” she captioned the post.

Dineo Ranaka was said to be suspended because she danced on furniture but Sunday World reports it was because she did not apologies. The publication reports that Dineo was called to the station manager Kina Hlengethwa’s office and asked to apologies, but she refused.
Dineo was then suspended from the station and a disciplinary hearing may take place.
“Apparently her argument was that she could not have damaged the mixer because she was dancing with socks on her feet and not with shoes on. This created the impression that she was not remorseful and was defiant,” said a staffer to the publication.
